Can you collect hazardous waste?
Generally, we collect non-hazardous waste. If you have specific hazardous items (e.g., certain chemicals, asbestos), please inform us when requesting a quote, as these may require specialised handling and disposal that we might not be equipped for, or may incur additional eco-charges. Common items with eco-charges include fridges, freezers, mattresses, and some electronics (CRTs, flat screens).
Do I need a skip permit if you collect the rubbish?
No, if we collect the waste directly from your property, you typically do not need a skip permit. This is one of the advantages of using our man-and-van service over hiring a skip.
Do you do all the loading?
Yes, our two-man teams will do all the heavy lifting and loading for you. You don't need to move the rubbish to the kerbside; we'll collect it from anywhere on your property with reasonable access. We'll even sweep up the area afterwards!
What items can't you take?
While we can clear most types of rubbish, there are a few exceptions, particularly hazardous materials like asbestos.
